Although this article is titled "Who is God the Father," it could also be named "God the Mother." This is because God is neither female nor male; God is pure energy. However, for the purpose of this article, the focus will be on God the Father.

Who is God the Father? In Christian belief, He is the first person of the Holy Trinity-the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He is the creator and source of life, known for His omnipotence and omniscience. This article explores His role, characteristics, and significance within the Trinity and to believers. Additionally, there are articles discussing God's connection to us.

God the Father in the Trinity

In Christian doctrine, God the Father is the First Person of the Trinity (Father, Son, Holy Spirit), distinct yet unified with the Son and Holy Spirit. This relationship is foundational to Christian theology, presenting a God who is both one and three. The Father’s role in this divine trio involves both hierarchy and essence.

It is like one unit with three distinct figures performing different roles, with God the Father in charge.

God the Father is characterized by attributes like omniscience and omnipotence, setting Him apart as a personal, all powerful and all knowing being. These qualities affirm His role as the supreme creator and source of life. Unlike human limitations, the Father’s capabilities are boundless, reflecting His eternal nature.

God the Father, as the Head of the Trinity, wields authority over all creation. This is evident in His roles as the originator of creation and orchestrator of salvation. He spoke the world into existence and devised the plan for humanity’s redemption, highlighting His involvement in both the physical and spiritual realms.

Though comprising three distinct persons, the Trinity operates in perfect unity. The Father, Son and Holy Spirit are one God in three persons. This unity amidst diversity showcases a harmonious relationship that transcends human beings’ understanding, central to the Christian faith. The Father’s role highlights His vital importance in the divine plan.

The Father's Relationship with Jesus Christ

The relationship between God the Father and son Jesus Christ is characterized by profound love and obedience. This dynamic is deeply relational, not merely hierarchical. Lord Jesus Christ showed a deep commitment to fulfilling the Father’s will throughout His life and ministry. This obedience, rooted in love, showcases a harmonious collaboration between Father and Son.

The Father’s plan of salvation is carried out through the only begotten son, highlighting a shared purpose and mission. Jesus’ earthly ministry and ultimate sacrifice were direct manifestations of the Father’s will. This mission underscores the unity of purpose within the Trinity, where each Person plays a distinct yet interconnected role.

In the New Testament, the Father is depicted as the planner of salvation, sending the Son to fulfill His divine purpose. This act reflects the Father’s authority and Jesus’ willingness to submit to His plan. Jesus’ mission and authority, as sent by the Father, underscore the divine purpose behind His coming. This unique relationship exemplifies the perfect harmony and unity within the Trinity.

Lord Jesus Christ came to Earth to fulfill God's wishes by bringing salvation to humanity. Jesus Christ accomplished this by dying on the cross for our sins. Jesus Christ offered humanity a way to reconnect with God, our true Father, and remind those who believe of God's promise of eternal life in His Divine Realm.

Son Jesus Christ taught us about our Father's immense love and mercy, as well as a God who is willing to forgive and welcome us into His kingdom.

Jesus Christ, thank you for your sacrifice and for showing us the way to our Divine Father. Thank you, Jesus Christ; thank you, Jesus Christ; thank you, Jesus Christ.

Father God and Holy Spirit

God is depicted as a single being. This being exists in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. As the third person divine entity in the Trinity, the Holy Spirit’s role is emphasized in Christian prayers and sacraments, underscoring the importance of the Holy Trinity in the faith. The Nicene Creed describes the Holy Spirit as ‘the Lord and Giver of Life,’ affirming His divine nature and His role in bestowing life and sustaining creation.

God the Father is the Creator and the Holy Spirit is His Power.

The New Testament calls the Holy Spirit the ‘Spirit of Truth,’ highlighting His role in revealing divine truth and guiding believers. Within the Trinity, the Holy Spirit works in co-equal and co-eternal partnership with the Father and the Son to fulfill God’s redemptive plan.

Additionally, the Holy Spirit helps believers understand God’s wisdom and discern His will.

Breathe in me, O Holy Spirit, that my thoughts may all be holy. Act in me, O Holy Spirit, that my work, too, may be holy. Draw my heart, O Holy Spirit, that I love but what is holy. Strengthen me, O Holy Spirit, to defend all that is holy.

Old Testament Revelations of God the Father

The Old Testament offers early insights into the nature and character of God the Father. Throughout its texts, God is referred to as the Father of Israel, emphasizing a parental relationship with His chosen people. Though not abundant, this paternal imagery appears about twenty times, each illustrating a protective and guiding presence.

Prophets like Isaiah and Hosea depict God as a Father in contexts of sin and repentance, underscoring His desire for a restored relationship with His children. In Isaiah, God’s fatherly nature is evident as He calls Israel back to righteousness, akin to a father guiding a wayward child. Hosea portrays Israel as God’s son, emphasizing this intimate and personal relationship.

In the Old Testament, God’s fatherhood contrasts sharply with the distant and formal deities of surrounding cultures. He is depicted as a compassionate Father, eager to deliver and protect His children. The imagery of a father carrying his son illustrates God’s deliverance of Israel from bondage, reinforcing His nurturing and authoritative role. This sets the stage for the more explicit revelations of God’s fatherhood in the New Testament.

New Testament Teachings on God the Father

The New Testament provides a clearer focus on God the Father, recognizing Him as the Father to those who believe in Jesus Christ as their Savior. This paternal role encompasses both authority and care. God the Father orchestrated the plan of salvation, actively redeeming humanity.

Jesus Christ emphasized the personal relationship believers can have with God by teaching His disciples to call God their Father. This intimate term reflects a revolutionary closeness and accessibility. Jesus’ own relationship with God the Father was unique and profound, often causing tension with Jewish leaders who could not accept His claims.

The New Testament reinforces monotheism by centralizing the Father in the faith. It reveals profound truths about His character, affirming His status as the true God. The divine nature of God the Father is consistently highlighted, ensuring believers understand His supreme authority and loving nature.

Believers as Children of God

This union between God and believers represents a loving, personal relationship where God acts as a caring and protective Father.

God’s fatherhood extends beyond mere creation; it also includes redemption. Believers are encouraged to approach God with confidence and love, just as a child does with a loving father. This relationship is marked by compassionate care and provision, reflecting the nurturing role of an earthly father.

This relationship is further strengthened through prayer, where believers seek communion with God, experiencing His grace and guidance. Understanding God as ‘Abba Father’ helps believers find comfort and security in His love.

Calling God "Abba"

The term ‘Abba’ is an Aramaic word that translates to ‘Father’, symbolizing a close and intimate bond between parent and child. This term is used in scripture to emphasize the personal and loving relationship believers can have with God. In Mark 14:36, Romans 8:15, and Galatians 4:6, the term ‘Abba Father’ highlights the significance of God’s fatherhood.

The Holy Spirit guides believers, affirming their identity as children of God and enabling them to call out to God as ‘Abba! Father!’. This calling reflects trust, dependence, and love, signifying the believers’ acceptance into God’s family and their right to approach Him with confidence and intimacy.

Calling God ‘Abba’ transforms the believer’s relationship with Him, making it more personal and accessible. It breaks down barriers of formality and distance, allowing for a deeper, comforting, and empowering connection. This term encapsulates the essence of the believer’s relationship with God, characterized by love, trust, and closeness.

The Father's Love and Forgiveness

God's omnipresence means that He is present everywhere at all times. This concept is essential for understanding the nature of God the Father, who transcends physical limitations. Jesus taught that God is not confined to a single location but is accessible to all believers, no matter where they are.. 

Only God can be everywhere present, distinguishing His omnipresence from the limitations of created beings. This attribute underscores His supremacy and uniqueness as the eternal God. Believers can take comfort in knowing that the Almighty God is always with them, providing assurance and peace.

Honors Due to God the Father

God the Father receives worship and honors that belong to Him alone, affirming His unique status as the true God. In the biblical context, honoring God involves valuing and respecting Him as the highest authority. This worship is a response to His greatness and His role as the Creator of the universe.

Depictions of God the Father and the Heavenly Father are influenced by the Ancient of Days from the Book of Daniel, portraying Him as eternal and majestic. This imagery enhances the understanding of God’s timeless and supreme nature. Believers are called to honor God through worship, obedience, and reverence, acknowledging His sovereignty and love.

Honoring God the Father is not just a duty but a privilege. It reflects the believer’s recognition of His greatness and their gratitude for His love and care. This honor is expressed through worship, prayer, and a life lived in accordance with His will.

Connection to God the Father

God the Father as the North Star

To me, God, my spiritual loving heavenly father, is everything. He is the divine spiritual light that appears whenever I feel trapped within a world of uncertainty, turmoil and suffering. He shows me the way out of all the madness and leads me to a place of calmness.

God the Father is the welcoming bright light at the end of a dark and long tunnel. When everyone has abandoned me, He is by my side giving me comfort and hope. His faith in me is unwavering. He knows all of my fears and sufferings, and listens patiently to all I have to say. He is the lighthouse that lights my path, and the North Star, which helps me find my way back home. God's love supports and inspires me to believe in myself and to move forward. God provides me with the tools for spiritual growth. 

During an emotional time in my life, I decided to release my feelings on paper. With a pencil in my hand and paper in front of me, I closed my eyes and began scribbling. As I continued to scribble, I felt my emotions pouring out of me. I was releasing my inner demons.

By the end, I had a paper covered with lines going in all directions. At first, I just saw lines, but after close examination, I noticed two figures in the center.

The large figure to the right appeared to be comforting the smaller figure to the left. In addition to the two main figures, smaller figures were visible.

In my darkest moment, God, my loving father, was letting me know that I was not alone.

Besides letting go of inner thoughts and emotions, this exercise allowed me to connect with my higher self.

Always remember that in moments of darkness, we are not alone. Have faith, and God will show you the way out of the darkness and into the light.

When we are in despair, Our Heavenly Father gives us hope. When we are surrounded by darkness, He sends us light. When we are sad, He fills our hearts with joy. And, when we are too weak and fall, He carries us on His shoulders to the end of our destination.

Although our Father forgives our sins, God expects us to work on doing good deeds and correcting our imperfections.

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed by thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day, our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses. as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen

In the New Testament, John 3:16 describes how God sent His only begotten Son, Lord Jesus Christ, to save humanity from sin. This bible verse illustrates the depth of God's care for us and His immense love for all His children. Additionally, various other bible verses in the New Testament further support and describe our heavenly Father's great love for all the children of God.

Searching for Answers

For those who may frown upon this page, I encourage you to remember that the information presented below is merely a vision experienced during a meditative journey. It is not a proven fact and should not be interpreted as such.

The following is a narrative of what I felt, saw, and heard.

I see myself stepping out of my body, taking a few steps forward and leaving my physical form in a calm state. Suddenly, I find myself standing in total darkness, in the middle of nowhere. Out of nowhere, an unseen force propels me forward, and I begin moving at an accelerated speed. I’m not sure if I’m traveling back in time or into the future; I just keep moving through this dark, unknown space. Surprisingly, I am not afraid.

In the distance, small, sparkling objects appear. They resemble stars, but I’m not entirely sure. As I turn my head, I see Earth. “So, this is the Universe,” I say to myself. As I continue to travel, Earth gradually becomes smaller and smaller until it finally vanishes. I start to slow down until I come to a stop and begin to float. It’s a strange sensation as if gentle, loving hands are holding me. A warm and glorious tingling sensation envelops me, and the feeling is incomparable. I do not want to leave this place.

Abruptly, I begin to move rapidly. The darkness is dissipating, and I am transitioning from complete darkness to a place filled with immense, powerful light. The intensity of the light makes it difficult to distinguish my surroundings, and it hurts my eyes. I close them, yet I feel my body moving forward. Soon, I am walking, guided by an unseen force. I continue walking until I am stopped from going any further.

I open my eyes to see the most remarkable panorama I have ever encountered. The intense light has faded, and everything around me is crystal clear.

In the distance, I spot a man standing there. He looks extremely familiar, but I can’t recall where I have seen him—perhaps during one of my previous journeys. I stop pondering this thought, realizing it is not crucial. He seems to be waiting for me, so I begin walking in his direction. As I approach him, he greets me with a smile. I notice a bright, glowing aura surrounding him.

He starts to walk, and I follow. His divine energy captivates me to the point that everything around us seems meaningless. I sense that he is a spiritual teacher.

We continue walking until we reach a pond, where he directs me to sit. I do so without hesitation and focus my attention on the water. It is a rich cerulean blue, so clear that I can see the bottom. I have never seen anything like it before.

As I concentrate on the water, he transmits his thoughts to me. I can sense and understand his thoughts with clarity. He instructs me to keep my focus on the water.

Following his directions, a strange image starts to appear. It is of a bright, powerful, luminescent light. The light is so intense that I must look away, afraid of damaging my eyes. But when I look back, the image of the light seems to be moving towards a building with colossal pillars, eventually fading away.

“What does this mean?” I ask.

“You have seen the image of God,” he replies.

In a state of awe, my eyes remain fixed on the clear water, hoping and waiting for the return of the image. Nothing happens. I lift my head and stare into the eyes of my spiritual teacher, waiting for clarification.
He commences to share more of his thoughts. He reveals the following:

"Throughout history, humanity has speculated about the existence of God. Some people believe in God unconditionally, while others have explored various ways to disprove His existence. These skeptics have even attempted to undermine the idea that God is the creator of all by employing scientific methods to support their theories. According to their perspective, if something cannot be seen, felt, or tested, it does not exist.

"The concept of God has been the subject of numerous debates among scholars over the years. It remains a topic that will continue to intrigue and captivate humanity for generations to come.

"God has no beginning and no end. He has always existed and will always exist. God is eternal and embodies the purest essence, unknown to humanity. He belongs to a group known to be of the highest pure light. 

A part of God's essence resides in all souls. In fact, part of God exists within every living thing on your planet.

God is neither female nor male; GOD is light energy.

You do not need to search for God elsewhere, for God resides in your heart.

God is the Father of all.

Forgive Us Our Sins

God the Father speaks:

"Why have you cast me out of your life? Why am I no longer in your heart? Have I not been a good Father? I have loved you from the beginning of time and will continue to love you until the end.

"I have provided water to quench your thirst, food to alleviate your hunger, and shelter to keep you warm. More importantly, I have given you the greatest gift of all—free will.

"I sent my beloved son, Jesus, to teach and show you the way to the light.

"Still, you reject my steadfast love and evict me from your heart. You spend hours on your cell phones, iPods, and computers, but you cannot take a few seconds to lift your head and say hello to me.

"Many speak my name only to manipulate others for their own personal gains. They hide behind my name to justify their wrongful acts. Their lips utter my name, but their hearts are empty and far removed from the truth about me.

"Others accuse me of causing all the havoc the world is currently facing. They see me as a God of vengeance and hate.

"I have provided you with a home called Earth, allowing you the freedom to make choices that improve, beautify, and enhance the land for everyone's enjoyment. Instead, your greed has led to its destruction, pillaging, and pollution. Your selfish ambition has turned you against your fellow beings and me."

I am a God of love, compassion, forgiveness, and abundant mercy. I wish for all my children—Black, White, Brown, Yellow, Red, Christian, Jewish, Buddhist, Hindu, and Muslim—to love one another the same way I love you all.
"I do not reside in holy books or on the lips of empty souls. I dwell within you, waiting patiently for you to open your heart and let me in.

From time to time, I have come down to visit my children. Recently, I disguised myself as an elderly homeless woman. Only a handful of my children stopped to offer me coffee or something to eat, while the majority walked past, ignoring my presence. They were busy sending text messages, talking on their cell phones, or listening to music on their iPods. Some even looked at me with disdain."

"As I walked from one end of the world to the other, I noticed the division among my children due to race, creed, class, economic status, and the color of their skin. It saddened me to see the broken connections among all the religions. Instead of unity, I witnessed separation, hate, and destruction."

"Many have used my name to wage war and create havoc. They are religious fanatics who are full of hate. They are ignorant and stubborn souls who refuse to comprehend and accept my simple doctrine of love and compassion.

"All religions were created as a means for you to communicate with me. Though their practices may differ, the foundation is the same. Whether you are Christian, Jewish, Buddhist, Hindu, or Muslim, you are all my children, and I love each of you equally.

To free yourself from the negativity of the world, you must let go of inner hatred, respect the beliefs of others, reach out to those less fortunate, and love one another as I love you.

Christians, Jews, Buddhists, Hindus, Muslims, and people of all faiths must unite to become one voice— the voice of peace, love, compassion, and great mercy. Extend your hand to your neighbors, regardless of race, creed, economic status, class, or skin color. Save yourself, and you will help save the world.

I will be patiently waiting for your return. Remember, I have loved you from the beginning of time and will continue to love you until the end."

GOD LOVES ALL HIS CHILDREN

As children of God, let us reach out and establish a relationship with God the Father, seek His forgiveness, and become one unit in God's family. Let us receive spiritual blessings from our Divine Father and begin a new life that includes God the Father.

Let us be called children of God once again.

God is Allah
Different names but same God

Do you get upset when someone says they believe in El Shaddai, El Elyon, Adonai, Yahweh or Jehovah? If not, why do you get upset when someone says they believe in Allah? They are referring to the same Divine Being-GOD, our heavenly father.  .

There is only one God with different names. 

The following is an example on how unjust, insensitive and ignorant people can be.

“Those people and their damn Allah,” were the words I heard as I entered the room. It was a social gathering at a friend’s house. Although I did not know the person who was expressing himself so ignorantly, his statement captivated me immediately.

As others departed from his presence, I gravitated toward him. I wanted to know if he knew whom Allah Supreme Being was. Although I usually walk away from individuals who express themselves in an ill-mannered way, I was curious about this person.

“Excuse me, but do you know who Allah is?” I asked him. “Of course, it’s their damn God,” he responded without any hesitation.

“Who are you referring to?” I inquired. “The Muslims, of course,” he retorted.

“Do you believe in God?" I continued. Once again, he answered, “Of course…why do you ask?”

“If you believe in God, then why do you despise Him?” I replied. Perplexed by my response, he asked, “What do you mean?”

“Aren’t you aware that God and Allah are the same? Different names used for our Creator. Whether you call Him God, Allah, Jehovah, etc., you are referring to the same Supreme Being. Therefore, when you say, ‘their damn God’ you are disrespecting our Creator,” I said. Not having anything more to say, I walked away.

Why are we so quick to blame an entire group for the wrongdoings of a few? Why do some of us see Allah as a non-loving, cruel and evil God?

Whether you refer to our Supreme Creator as God, Allah or Jehovah, He is one. He is the Heavenly Father, who is the Creator of all.

People like Osama Bin Laden, Hilter, Amin and Mao Tse-tung possessed the seeds of evil. They were true culprits, and loyal messengers of Lucifer.

During the Spanish Inquisition, sanctioned by Pope Lucius III during the end of the 12 century, innocent people were condemned, locked up, tortured and burned while still alive.

Do we condemn all the followers of the Catholic Church for its dark past and the wrongdoings of a few? No, we do not. The actions of a few do not represent the entire religious community.

Recently, I saw a film called My Name Is Khan. The film was excellent. The message of the film was that not all Muslims are terrorists. Therefore, we should not treat them as such.

There is a vast difference between a true lover of Islam and a terrorist. True believers of Islam embrace humanity, while terrorists attempt to destroy it.

Therefore, before you berate any religious group, think about what you are about to say. Religion is not the problem. The problem stems from the few inhuman individuals who hide behind the skirts of religion to perform their wrongful acts.

Violence broke out in Libya where four Americans were killed and others seriously injured. The mayhem started with the release of a PRIVATELY PRODUCED LOW BUDGET FILM depicting Prophet Muhammad as, “a fraud, a womanized and a child molester.”

I can sympathize with the outrage of Muslims, however, not with the horrendous crimes committed against humanity. Two wrongs do not make a right. Let us keep in mind that the abominations committed by some misguided Muslims do not represent the entire Muslim community.

It is my opinion that overzealous religious fanatics orchestrated these acts of hate and violence. These sick-minded individuals were waiting patiently for the right moment to spread their poisonous venom into the minds of the gullible.

Islam is not about killing the innocent; it is about showing compassion to others. It is not about destroying; it is about rebuilding. It is not about creating hate; it is about spreading LOVE to ALL.

In the past, many have depicted Jesus, Buddha and other divine figures in a negative fashion. These are just the opinions of insensible, distorted individuals who possess their own personal agenda.

Let us pray to Allah Father God to take away all the hate from our hearts and fill it with LOVE.

LET THERE BE PEACE and remember we are all children of God. 

Muslim Prayer for Peace

“In the name of Allah, the beneficent, the merciful, Praise to the Lord of the Universe who has created us and made us into tribes and nations; That we may know each other, Not that we may despise each other. If the enemy inclines toward peace, do you also incline toward peace. And trust God, for the Lord is the one that hears and knows all things. And the servants of God, most gracious are those who walk on the Earth in humility, And when we address them, we say ‘PEACE.’”

May Allah/ God protect us from all evil.
