Pet Cemetery Ghost

Recently, I had the pleasure of visiting Lily Dale - a spiritualist community located in Chautauqua County, New York. During my stay, I visited their pet cemetery. It was relatively small in comparison to the others I had seen.

As I walked around, I could feel the spiritual energy that others had sensed and described.

While sitting on one of the two benches there, adjusting my camera, a large grey colored cat appeared out of nowhere. I was so startled by its presence that I dropped everything on my lap.

He remained on the bench staring at me while I gathered my things. Suddenly, he began to behave outlandishly- jerking and jumping erratically and uncontrollably. I thought for sure his head would spin around, similar to the girl in the movie Exorcist.

Alarmed by the cat's behavior, I decided to move to the other bench. In a flash, he jumped to the bench where I was sitting and continued his ongoing performance. By now, I was convinced that he did not want me to sit on either one of the benches. It appeared that they were off-limits.

By this time, I noticed a couple staring at us. They appeared to be amused by the cat's antics and my petrified look.

Feeling a bit awkward by the situation, I decided to take matters into my own hands. I looked firmly into his eyes and said, "Stop bothering me... let me take some pictures...go over to your admirers and new friends and show them around the cemetery!"

The cat immediately stopped what he was doing, jumped off the bench, and went over to the couple. A few minutes later, I noticed that he was walking calmly beside the couple, escorting them out of the cemetery.

The entire time that I remained in the cemetery, no one, not even the cat, appeared. I stayed there for approximately 30 minutes taking pictures and enjoying the calmness.

Upon my departure from the cemetery, I saw the cat sitting calmly opposite the entrance. He sat there as if he was the gatekeeper or guardian of the cemetery. After that day, I never saw the cat again.

When I got home, I started to view the pictures I had taken at lily dale spiritual pet cemetery. I noticed something strange in one of them. It appeared to be an apparition of some kind. Astonished by my discovery, I enlarged the picture. Yes, it seemed to be the figure of a person with a headdress in front of a tree. You can look below and decide for yourself.

In the first picture, the tree is behind the first tree to the far right. The second picture is a close-up of the tree.

Were the apparition and the cat connected in some way? I guess I will never know. Nevertheless, I will never stop thinking about it.

Indeed, my visit to Lily Dale's pet cemetery was, without a doubt, fascinating.
